Within the scope of "Sponsorship" lectures of Gözde Kuzu, Head of Program of Public Relations and Publicity of IKU Vocational School, an e-seminar was held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in which Ilgaz Güler, Country Manager of Spectrum Brands Inc Turkey, was a speaker. Drawing attention to the advertising, marketing and public relations purposes of sponsorship, Güler explained the sponsorship projects they carried out, the sponsorship communication process and the effects of using sports team sponsorship as a marketing tool on brand image with examples.

The Department of Communication Arts organized an e-seminar titled "Coping with the Youth" on Tuesday, April 20 at 14:00, attended by Author Su Tunç as a speaker. Su Tunç, who works in the media sector but also writes detective novels, told students about education and working life that they can do it to improve themselves. Advising young people to work efficiently and be self-confident in order to realize their dreams; she stated that he went through her career in the university, from advertising to writing, with her education abroad and the experiences she gained.

Mehmet Emin Aslan, one of the editors of Habertürk Media Group who attended the event as a speaker explained to the audience the points that need to be taken into consideration when writing press releases over the press releases belonging to many important institutions and brands, the frequent mistakes and the important criteria for writing an effective press release.
